This is one of my parents favorites, so we tend to eat here when we are in town. I think the prices are a little high, but the food is usually very good. Last week they really over cooked my dad's filet but he did not want to wait for another. The waitress ran off saying she would tell the kitchen. We never saw her again until we got the bill and no one said another word about it or how the food was (no offer of desert either). I thought that was strange, but dad goes there all the time so I just went along. We have always had better food and service in the past so maybe it was a fluke this time...

Steak was subpar. Waited 15 minutes to get drinks after being seated. Prices were reasonable. Nice clean establishment.

Prime rib was delicious. I read all the reviews saying on weekends there is a hour wait and they don't take reservations so I didn't want to spend 2 hours eating here. I called for take out which was ready in 25 min and took it with me. The place was half full and I could have got right in but I already did take out. Call first people. I can't believe I could have walked in, sat down on the weekend and had my meal there. All in all it was good. I love raw red meat and the 16 0z prime rib hit the spot. Way too big as I looked at it, a roast in it self and a third of the way in I was done. Yes it needs that dipping broth for optimal flavor because on its own it's not seasoned. It was tender and not too fatty. The sides were chicken noodle soup, home made with potato wedges and an onion roll. Way too much food. I liked the prime rib and would go here again. Older crowd here. Up scale place with a nice bar to have drinks before dinner. I don't live here but if I did I would hang here. My only problem was trip adviser and yelp reviews talking about long wait times which led me to take out when I could have sat down and ate there. Lesson learned. This did satisfy my taste for raw meat.

I have eaten here many times when in Fond du Lac and think this is one of the better places to get a decent steak in town. This place definitely has an older crowd, but the food is good!

The place is AWESOME! Food prices might be just a little high, but it's good and atmosphere is enjoyable. We spent some time at the bar and was very pleased with prices and service. Might be ok for kids, but would depend on the kids.

There's only 1 way to describe this place and that is PERFECT. We had an hour wait, but what can you expect on a Saturday night the night after valentines day. If your looking for a classy/romantic place I would highly recommend. You wait at the bar or by the bar at a table next to a fire place. Very calm and appealing. I ordered the 16 oz new york strip and we got the steak rolls for an appetizer. The steak was cooked perfectly and everything tasted amazing. I give this place a five star because the service was good especially for being a busy night, the food was AMAZING with quantity and quality, and the atmosphere was relaxing, spacious, and just very appealing. couldn't ask for much more. And the total came out to $56 with 2 meals, an appetizer, and the tip. Very happy, such a great night :)

I've really never understood the draw to this place. The food is ok, but for a place calling itself a steakhouse the steak is really pretty ordinary. Even the lesser of the steakhouses in any major city are head and shoulders above what you can get at Sebastian's. If I can make a better steak at home, what is the point of going to a steakhouse? For "fine" dining in FDL I'd say Theo's is your choice, not Sebastian's.

The number of really good sit down restaurants in Fond du Lac are limited. This reminds me of a realy old fashion steak lounge. The interior lighting is dim with lots of dark wood and a fireplace. Went without reservation, was promptly seated and overall service was attentive. Menu has good selection of steaks and other American cuisine. I ordered baked french onion soup, prime rib and dessert. The soup was thick rich broth, a bit salty with the normal submerged crouton and goozy cheese on top. They also give you a complimentary loaf of their cheddar garlic bread. Pretty average. Side salad had a nice mix of lettuce and dressing was homemade and excellent. The prime rib was described as well seasonsed and cooked to perfection. I found it cooked well but lacked that deep prime rib rub taste. The au jus was necessary to add some salt. The meat was tender and wasnt to overly fatty like some places. I had steamed broccoli as my side and it was wonderful. Dessert was pretty average chocolate cake. Overall it was a pleasant and good dining experience - not phenomenol but better than most of the other restaurants in the area.

Great value - good steak at reasonable prices Clean bathrooms usually mean a clean kitchen. Yes bathrooms were spotless. the decor leaves a lot to be desired but I will go back for the food.

Night out with a friend visiting from out of town. I am new to the area and Sebastian's was recommended to me. Did have an hour wait and had to ask when we would be seated. Was told a slight kitchen back up due to a large banquet. Steaks were very good. Homemade bread and salad dressings. The 1000 Island was amazing! Fun waitstaff. Will definitely be returning!

Sebastian's is an old-school steak house that definitely caters to "older" clientele (helloooo early bird special). Upon entering is a large cocktail room/bar where you can have a few beverages before being seated. Oddly enough, you cannot choose to eat in this room. The dining area is dimly lit and finished in dark wood. Service was pretty quick, I never felt I was waiting for a dish to arrive. The wine selection is pretty decent, they had several Cab's for me to choose from. I ordered the Sebastian's Special (12oz choice sirloin, medium) with a baked potato and a house salad. The dressing for the salad was homemade and was one of the best house-italian's I've ever had. The steak was pretty good, but not great. Parts of it were a bit on the rare side for me, while others were on the medium/well side. Also, there were a couple instances where I found a chunks of gristle in the meat, something I wasn't expecting from a USDA choice steak. The potato was...a standard baked potato. I'd probably go back, but I may try to find another local joint to compare it to first.

Excellent straightforward steak completely unadulterated and very reasonably priced. Excellent service by Sue. We found the place by random google maps search when traveling to Milwaukee. We are not from the area so it was complete luck of the draw...lucky us it was just what we needed after too many burgers.
